Directions: Bring 4 and a half cups of water to a boil, add muslin bag with herbs to boiling water, bring back to a boil, turn down to a low simmer. Allow to simmer for 30 mins. Strain muslin bag with herbs then add your desire sweetener, transfer to mason jar. Once cool, store in the refrigerator.

Syrup can last up to 2 months in the refrigerator and 6 months in the freezer.

Standard dose of syrup is 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp for children and 1/2 tbsp to 1 tbsp for adults. If the Flu strikes, take the normal dose every 2 to 3 hours instead of once a day until symptoms disappear.

Shelf life: Kit will make about 32oz of syrup. Elderberry Syrup can last up to 2 months in the refrigerator.
